IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3)
IRF3는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존적 면역 반응의 핵심 전사 조절 인자로, DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 IFN-alpha 및 IFN-beta 유전자의 전사를 조절하며, IFN-stimulated genes(ISG)의 발현을 유도합니다.
비감염 세포에서는 세포질에 비활성 상태로 존재하다가, 바이러스 감염이나 TLR 신호에 의해 IKBKE 및 TBK1에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동하고, CREB binding protein과 결합하여 DRAF1 복합체를 형성합니다.
이 복합체는 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다. IRF3 유전자 변이는 급성 감염 유발 뇌병증 등과 관련이 있습니다.
