Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IGFBP-4 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGFBP-1, IGFBP-2, IGFBP-3, IGFBP-5, and IGFBP-6.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The IGFBP4 gene encodes a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein family. The protein contains an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. It binds insulin-like growth factors I and II, circulating in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms. This binding extends the IGF half-life and modulates their interaction with cell surface receptors.
