Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAPK7 (ERK5) serine/threonine kinase belongs to the MAP kinase family and regulates cellular processes including proliferation, differentiation, transcription, and development.
Activated by MAP2K5/MEK5, MAPK7 translocates to the nucleus to phosphorylate transcription factors.
MAPK7 deletion in mice causes defective cardiovascular development and embryonic lethality.
ERK5 is expressed in many adult tissues such as heart, placenta, lung, kidney, and skeletal muscle, but not in liver.
