CHUK (IKK alpha)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 세포 신호 전달 및 통신에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 NF-kappa B 복합체의 억제 단백질로 작용하는 사이토카인 활성화 단백질 복합체의 일부입니다. IKK alpha는 IKK beta 및 조절 단백질 NEMO (IKK gamma)와 함께 IkB 단백질을 인산화하여 유비퀴틴 매개 분해를 유도합니다. 염증 및 세포 생존과 관련된 다양한 세포 과정에서 중요한 역할을 수행합니다.
