Target Information
IKK alpha/beta는 인간의 CHUK 및 IKKB 유전자에 의해 각각 염색체 10과 8에 위치하여 발현됩니다. NF-kB 경로를 활성화하는 TNF-alpha 등의 자극에 의해, IKK 복합체의 두 서브유닛인 IKK alpha 및 IKK beta는 조절 단백질 NEMO (IKK gamma)와 함께 IkB 단백질을 인산화시킵니다. 이는 IkB의 유비퀴틴 매개 분해를 유도하고 NF-kB의 인산화를 통해 핵으로의 이동을 촉진합니다. Ser176 및 Ser180 위치의 인산화는 키나아제 활성화를 위한 구조적 변화를 유도합니다.
