Target Information
CD49f (Integrin alpha-6, ITGA6)는 인테그린 알파 체인 α6 단백질로, 세포 표면에 존재하는 인테그린 복합체의 구성 요소입니다. 인테그린은 α 및 β 사슬로 구성되어 있으며, 세포 부착 및 세포 신호 전달에 관여합니다.
α6은 β4와 결합하여 TSP180으로, β1과 결합하여 VLA-6으로 알려진 인테그린을 형성할 수 있습니다. 이러한 인테그린은 세포 부착, 이동성, 세포 주기 진행 등 다양한 세포 반응을 조절합니다.
CD49f는 주로 상피세포에 발현되며, 헤미데스모좀(hemidesmosome)의 구조적 역할을 담당합니다. 포유류에서는 18개 이상의 α 서브유닛과 8개의 β 서브유닛이 다양한 스플라이스 변형체로 존재합니다. 일부 인테그린은 용해성 리간드나 인접 세포의 ICAMs와 결합하여 세포 간 응집을 유도할 수 있습니다.
