This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
CELSR3 is a member of the flamingo subfamily within the cadherin superfamily. Flamingo cadherins are nonclassic-type cadherins that do not interact with catenins. They localize at the plasma membrane and possess nine cadherin domains, seven EGF-like repeats, and two laminin A G-type repeats in their ectodomain, along with seven transmembrane domains unique to this subfamily. These proteins are thought to function as receptors in contact-mediated communication, with cadherin domains acting as homophilic binding regions and EGF-like domains mediating cell adhesion and receptor-ligand interactions. The specific role of CELSR3 has not yet been determined.
