Target Information
SMAD 단백질은 transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) 수용체 신호전달 경로의 필수 구성요소인 MAD-related 단백질 계열에 속합니다.
SMADs는 다음 세 그룹으로 분류됩니다:
- R-SMADs (Receptor-regulated SMADs): SMAD1, 2, 5, 8, 9
- Co-SMAD (Common-mediator SMAD): SMAD4
- I-SMADs (Inhibitory SMADs): SMAD6, 7
SMAD1, 5, 8, 9는 높은 상동성을 가지며, 이들 공통 서열을 인식하는 항체들도 존재합니다.
