Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat IgG targets.
Secondary antibodies increase versatility by allowing the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
