Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility by enabling use in various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, these antibodies may be purified and modified (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
