Target Information
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor associated factors (TRAFs)는 TNF receptor superfamily를 신호전달 경로에 연결하는 어댑터 단백질로, 세포사멸 및 스트레스 반응 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
TRAF 단백질은 세포 수용체 및 다른 TRAF 단백질과 결합할 수 있는 공통 구조 영역을 가지며, 결합한 TRAF 종류에 따라 다양한 신호 전달 경로를 활성화합니다.
예를 들어, TRAF2와 TRAF3는 CD40 수용체에 직접 결합하여 NF-κB 활성화를 유도하며, TRAF2와 TRAF6은 비혈액세포에서 CD40 신호전달에 필요합니다. 또한 TRAF2는 TRAF3 및 apoptosis 억제 인자인 cIAP1, Smac과 함께 lymphotoxin-beta receptor (LTβR)에 결합합니다.
