This antibody has specificity for Human TUBB3/beta III Tubulin.
Target Information
The betaIII-tubulin isoform is dominantly present in cells of neuronal origin and is one of the earliest markers of neuronal differentiation. It serves as a specific probe for neuronal cells and tumors derived from them. BetaIII-tubulin is most abundant in neuronal cells but has also been detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
