For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Aipl1 is a protein associated with Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA), an autosomal recessive disorder linked to abnormal photoreceptor development. It is a tetratricopeptide repeat protein homologous to ARA9, which participates in HSP90-mediated nuclear translocation and activation of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor.
Aipl1 forms part of a chaperone heterocomplex interacting with Hsp90 and Hsp70, and also associates with the cell cycle regulator NUB1. It cooperates with Hsp70 (but not Hsp90) to suppress NUB1 inclusion formation, crucial for normal photoreceptor maturation. Mutations affecting these interactions lead to LCA.
At least three isoforms of Aipl1 are known.
