• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

Peroxisome proliferators are non-genotoxic carcinogens that act through nuclear hormone receptors known as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs). These ligand-dependent intracellular proteins regulate gene transcription by binding to specific DNA sequences upon activation. PPARs are activated by compounds such as clofibric acid, nafenopin, WY-14,643, and certain fatty acids. They can induce transcription of acyl-CoA oxidase and cytochrome P450 (CYP450) A6 through specific response elements. PPARs also form heterodimers with retinoid X receptor (RXR) alpha.
