Target Information
SEC14L2 유전자는 Sec14p, α-tocopherol transfer protein, cellular retinol-binding protein을 포함하는 lipid-binding 단백질 계열에 속하는 세포질 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 cholesterol 생합성 경로의 downstream 효소인 squalene monooxygenase를 활성화합니다. 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 전사체가 보고되어 있습니다.
