This antibody detects 300, 150, and 100 kDa bands on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of mouse liver and rat PC12 cells. These bands correspond to the full-length and proteolytically processed forms of Plexin B1. In mouse liver, this antibody detects 300 and 100 kDa forms of Plexin B1.
Target Information
Plexin B1 is a protein of the plexin family encoded by the PLXNB1 gene in humans. It acts as a receptor for SEMA4D and plays a role in RHOA activation and subsequent changes of the actin cytoskeleton. Plexin B1 is involved in axon guidance, invasive growth, and cell migration.
