Target Information
STAT2는 STAT 단백질 계열의 구성원으로, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 반응 시 수용체 관련 키나아제에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성자로 작용합니다. Interferon (IFN) 반응 시 STAT1 및 IFN 조절 인자 p48 (ISGF3G)과 복합체를 형성하며, DNA 직접 결합 능력은 없지만 전사 활성화 기능을 수행합니다. 또한 P300/CBP (EP300/CREBBP)와 상호작용하여 아데노바이러스에 의한 IFN-alpha 반응 억제 과정에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
