- In sandwich ELISAs, no cross-reactivity or interference with recombinant human Epo, recombinant mouse Epo R, or rhThrombopoietin R was observed.

Target Information
EpoR encodes the erythropoietin receptor, a member of the cytokine receptor family. When erythropoietin binds to this receptor, it activates the Jak2 tyrosine kinase, which triggers multiple intracellular pathways including Ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase, and STAT transcription factors.
Activated EpoR supports erythroid cell survival. Mutations in this gene can result in erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis, and dysregulation may influence tumor growth.
Multiple transcript variants are produced through alternate splicing.
