Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4) is encoded by the FOXO4 gene on the X chromosome. Also known as AFX1 or MLLT7, it belongs to the O class of forkhead/winged helix transcription factors, along with FOXO1, FOXO3, and FOXO6. FOXO4 is highly expressed in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. It binds to the Insulin Responsive Element (IRE) and activates downstream targets of Insulin/IGF1 signaling such as IGFBP1. Phosphorylation by Akt causes FOXO4 to bind 14-3-3 proteins, leading to its nuclear export.
