The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
BMP6 (Bone Morphogenetic Protein 6) is a member of the BMP family, which are secreted signaling molecules capable of inducing ectopic bone growth. These proteins belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily. BMP6 is expressed early in embryogenesis and is thought to play a role in early development. Its close relationship to BMP5 and BMP7 suggests potential bone inductive activity.
