Target Information
CEACAM1은 carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) 유전자 패밀리의 구성원으로, 면역글로불린 초패밀리에 속합니다.
CEA 패밀리는 CEA 세포 부착 분자와 임신 특이성 당단백질로 나뉘며, 이들은 염색체 19번 장완의 약 1.2 Mb 클러스터 내에 위치합니다.
이 단백질은 간의 담관에서 처음 발견된 담즙당단백으로, 이후 백혈구, 상피세포, 내피세포 등에서 세포 간 부착 분자로 밝혀졌습니다.
CEACAM1은 동종 및 이종 결합을 통해 세포 간 부착을 매개하며, 조직 구조 형성, 혈관신생, 세포사멸, 종양 억제, 전이, 면역 반응 조절 등 다양한 생물학적 기능을 수행합니다.
여러 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 그중 두 가지의 전장 서열이 확인되었습니다.
