Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
GPR73A is a receptor for prokineticin 1 and belongs to the GPCR family, coupled to the G(q) subclass of heteromeric G proteins. Activation of this receptor leads to calcium mobilization, stimulation of phosphoinositide turnover, and activation of p44/p42 MAP kinase. GPR73A expression has been observed in adrenal, peripheral blood leukocytes, brain, colon, pancreas, prostate, rectum, salivary gland, small intestine, spleen, stomach, testis, and thyroid tissues. No human ESTs have been identified.
