Target Information
EAF1과 EAF2는 ELL과 복합체를 형성하여 Pol II의 ternary elongation complex를 표적화하고 전사 신장의 속도를 촉진합니다. 또한 EAF1과 EAF2는 NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex의 안정성에 중요하며, 이는 Histones H4 및 H2A의 아세틸화를 통해 특정 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다. 두 단백질은 EAF family의 구성원으로, ELL과 함께 Cajal bodies 및 nuclear speckles에 공위치합니다.
EAF1은 아스파르트산, 글루탐산 및 세린 잔기가 풍부한 C-말단 영역을 포함하고 있으며, EAF2는 androgen-response gene으로서 강력한 apoptosis 유도 인자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
