Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at –20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at –20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

P2Y1 is a purinergic receptor that binds ADP, inducing platelet shape change and aggregation by mobilizing intracellular calcium through activation of phospholipase C.
It also mediates nitric oxide release and may modulate neuronal signal transmission.
P2Y1 expression has been observed in various tissues, particularly in the brain, and ESTs have been identified from human embryo, lung, and placenta libraries.
