Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. Restore with 0.1 mL of deionized water (or equivalent).
For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This antibody is specific for human IL-17E protein. A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with IL-17E from human sources based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with IL-17E from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
Interleukin 25 (IL-25) is a member of the IL-17 family and acts as a proinflammatory cytokine produced by Th17 effector cells. It enables the Th17 subset to initiate or maintain autoimmune processes in diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.
IL-25 induces activation of NF-kappa-B and stimulates production of the proinflammatory chemokine IL-8. IL-25 itself is activated through IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta.
