Target Information
XDH는 퓨린의 산화 대사에 관여하는 몰리브덴 함유 하이드록실라제 그룹에 속하는 효소입니다. 이 단백질은 호모다이머 형태이며, 가역적인 황화수소산화 또는 비가역적인 단백질 분해 변형을 통해 잔틴 산화효소(xanthine oxidase)로 전환될 수 있습니다.
XDH의 결함은 잔틴뇨증(xanthinuria)을 유발하며, 성인 호흡곤란 증후군 및 산소 대사체 의존적 메커니즘을 통한 인플루엔자 감염 악화에 기여할 수 있습니다.
