Target Information
SIGIRR (single Ig IL-1R-related molecule)은 interleukin 1 receptor (IL-1R) superfamily의 새로운 구성원입니다. IL-1R 및 Toll 수퍼패밀리의 보존된 모티프를 가지지만 구조적, 기능적으로는 구별됩니다.
SIGIRR은 세포외 영역에 하나의 Ig 도메인만을 가지며, IL-1R 패밀리의 세 개 Ig fold와는 다릅니다. 긴 세포질 도메인은 Drosophila Toll의 구조를 연상시키지만, 아미노산 서열은 IL-1RI와 더 유사합니다.
SIGIRR의 세포내 도메인을 IL-1R의 세포외 도메인과 융합한 키메라 단백질은 NFκB를 활성화하지 않았으며, 다른 IL-1R 관련 단백질의 융합 단백질과는 달랐습니다. 계통학적 분석 결과, SIGIRR은 포유류에서 MyD88과 밀접한 기능적 관계를 가지는 막단백질로 제안됩니다.
