Target Information
ATF1 유전자는 ATF 서브패밀리 및 bZIP (basic-region leucine zipper) 패밀리에 속하는 활성화 전사 인자를 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 세포 성장, 생존, 기타 생리적 과정에 관련된 하위 표적 유전자의 발현을 조절합니다.
Serine 63 위치에서 여러 serine/threonine kinase에 의해 인산화되어 전사 활성과 세포 변형을 촉진합니다.
16번 염색체의 FUS 또는 22번 염색체의 EWSR1과의 융합은 특정 육종(angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma, clear cell sarcoma)에서 키메라 단백질을 생성합니다.
이 유전자는 염색체 6에 상동 유전자가 존재합니다.
