Target Information
MLC1은 신경 세포에서 비선택적 양이온 채널로 작용할 가능성이 있으며, 막 단백질 수송체로 추정됩니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 대뇌백질이영양증과 피질하 낭종을 동반한 거대뇌백질병(megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy with subcortical cysts)과 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 전사체 변이체가 확인되어 서로 다른 isoform을 생성합니다.
