Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.
KLK8 is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in tandem on chromosome 19. The protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and act as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
