For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The membrane-associated protein encoded by the ABCB1 gene belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. These proteins transport various molecules across cellular membranes and are divided into seven subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White).
ABCB1 is part of the MDR/TAP subfamily, involved in multidrug resistance. It functions as an ATP-dependent efflux pump for xenobiotic compounds, reducing intracellular drug accumulation and contributing to anticancer drug resistance. Additionally, ABCB1 acts as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
