Target Information
B cell linker protein (BLNK) is encoded by the Blnk gene located on chromosome 10 in humans. Also known as SLP-65, it functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor signaling cascade. Tyrosine phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk kinase enables interactions with signaling intermediates such as Vav GEF and Grb2, playing a crucial role in B cell development.
