Target Information

B cell linker protein (BLNK), also known as SLP-65, is encoded by the BLNK gene on human chromosome 10. It functions as an adaptor protein in the B cell receptor (BCR) signaling cascade. Tyrosine phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk kinase facilitates interactions with signaling intermediates such as Vav GEF and Grb2. Deficiency of BLNK leads to improper B cell development.
