Target Information
Candida albicans는 인간에서 가장 흔히 분리되는 진균 병원체로, 미숙아부터 AIDS 환자에 이르기까지 면역저하 환자에게 영향을 미칩니다.
전신 감염 시 사망률은 약 30–50%에 달합니다.
*C. albicans는 8쌍의 상동 염색체를 가진 이배체 생물로, 게놈 크기는 약 16 Mb(haploid)이며, 이는 *S. cerevisiae(제빵 효모)보다 약 30% 큽니다.
