Target Information
PRMT1는 protein arginine N-methyltransferase (PRMT) 계열에 속하는 효소입니다. 아르기닌 메틸화는 RNA 처리 및 수송, 수용체 매개 신호전달, 전사 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여하는 비가역적 번역 후 변형입니다. PRMT 효소는 핵 단백질, IL enhancer binding factor, 세포 주기 및 신호전달 관련 단백질 등 여러 핵심 단백질을 메틸화하여 중요한 조절 기능을 수행합니다. 포유류 PRMT 계열은 7가지 멤버로 구성되며, PRMT1의 과발현은 여러 종류의 암과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
