NUDT10은 PP-InsP5(diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate)의 diphosphate 그룹에서 β-인산을 절단하여 신호전달에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. 또한 Ap6A 및 Ap5A를 선호 기질로 하는 dinucleoside oligophosphates의 가수분해를 촉매하며, 주요 반응 생성물은 각각 ADP와 p4a(Ap6A), ADP와 ATP(Ap5A)입니다. 5-phosphoribose 1-diphosphate도 가수분해할 수 있습니다.
