ULK3 (unc-51-like kinase 3)는 serine/threonine kinase 계열에 속하며, SHH 신호 전달 경로에서 GLI 단백질의 양성 조절자로 작용합니다. ULK3는 GLI 전사활성을 증가시키고 세포 내 위치를 변화시키며, in vitro에서 GLI 단백질을 인산화합니다. ULK3는 다양한 조직에서 발현되며 SHH 신호가 활발한 조직에서 높은 수준으로 발현되어, SHH 경로의 양성 조절자로 기능함을 시사합니다.
