C1q는 보체 C1의 하위 구성 요소로, C1r 및 C1s와 결합하여 보체 활성화 연쇄 반응의 진행에 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
C1q 결핍은 루푸스성 홍반 및 사구체신염과 관련이 있습니다.
C1q는 18개의 폴리펩타이드 사슬(6개의 A-chain, 6개의 B-chain, 6개의 C-chain)로 구성되어 있으며, 각 사슬은 N-말단 부근의 콜라겐 유사 영역과 C-말단 구형 영역을 포함합니다.
A-, B-, C-chain은 염색체 1번 상에서 A–C–B 순서로 배열되어 있습니다.
