CDK1 (Cell Division Control protein 1)은 세포 주기의 START 단계를 완료하는 데 필수적인 단백질로, 유사분열 개시를 조절하는 M-Phase Promoting Factor의 촉매 소단위입니다. CDK1은 진핵세포 전반에 걸쳐 보존되어 있으며, 세포주기 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
G2/M기 정지 세포에서 Bcl-2의 인산화는 CDK1 매개 신호를 통해 유도되며, 이는 세포 사멸의 시작을 지연시킵니다. 또한 CDK 억제제 NU2058은 안드로겐 비의존성 전립선암 치료에서 잠재적 효능이 입증되었습니다.
