Target Information
Ecm29 is one of three proteins that associate significantly with proteasomes and has been shown to enhance proteasome stability. Deletion of Ecm29 results in 26S proteasomes that dissociate in the absence of ATP, suggesting that Ecm29 tethers the regulatory complex to the proteasome.
