Description:
The RA3-6B2 monoclonal antibody reacts with the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45 (220 kDa surface molecule). CD45R/B220 is primarily expressed by B cell lineage from early Pro-B to mature B cells and can also be found on activated T cells, LAK cells, NK progenitors, and certain mutant T cells (lpr/lpr).

Applications Reported:

• Flow cytometric analysis
• Functional studies of B cells

Applications Tested:
Validated for flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Recommended titration for optimal assay performance.

Target Information

CD45R (PTPRC) is a protein tyrosine phosphatase involved in cell signaling, growth, differentiation, and immune regulation. It is expressed in hematopoietic cells and regulates T- and B-cell receptor signaling. CD45 isoforms arise via alternative splicing, influencing membrane localization and expression patterns. Dysfunction of CD45 is associated with immunodeficiency and hepatitis C.
