Product Specific Information

• Description: Monoclonal rat IgG2a is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
• Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells and mouse splenocytes. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
• Fluorochrome Properties: Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited with the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Recommended filter: 610/20 bandpass.
• Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
• Light Sensitivity: Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 2–8°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
