Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45828 was sufficient for detection of dityrosine in 1 µg of Dityrosine conjugated to BSA by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Specific for dityrosine-modified proteins. Does not cross-react with 3,5-dibromotyrosine or bromotyrosine-modified proteins.
Target Information
Dityrosine may be a natural component of protein structure, a product of environmental stress, or a product of in vitro protein modification.
Dityrosine is involved in diverse reactions that produce tyrosyl radicals, which in turn may couple to yield dityrosine.
