By Western blot, MA5-11590 detects Human Ig lambda light chain at approximately 25 kDa in human samples.
By ELISA and WB, MA5-11590 does not react with human Ig kappa light chain.

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.

Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with many detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.

Most commonly, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
