MAP2K2 (MEK2)는 이중 특이성 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 성장 인자 신호전달에 중요한 역할을 합니다. MEK2는 ERK1/2 및 MAPK 효소를 활성화시키며, MEK1/2는 Ser218과 Ser222에서 이중 인산화되어 활성화됩니다. MEK1의 Thr292는 ERK2에 의해 인산화되어 음성 피드백 조절을 수행합니다.
