Target Information
The P2RY2 gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor responsive to both adenosine and uridine nucleotides. It belongs to a receptor family with multiple subtypes showing overlapping pharmacological selectivity. This receptor may be involved in regulating the cell cycle of endometrial carcinoma cells. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
