Target Information

TSC2 (Tuberin, Tuberous sclerosis complex, TSC Complex Subunit 2)는 종양 억제 인자로 알려져 있으며, 소포 수송 및 세포 성장 정지 조절, 스테로이드 수용체 매개 전사 조절에 관여합니다. TSC2는 hamartin과 세포질 복합체를 형성하며, Ser939와 Thr1462의 인산화는 hamartin과의 상호작용을 조절합니다. 다양한 성장 인자에 의해 PI3K/Akt 경로를 통해 자극받으며, RAP1A 및 RAB5의 GTPase 활성 조절에 관여합니다. TSC2 유전자 변이는 RAP1A의 지속적 활성화와 관련되어 있으며, lymphangioleiomyomatosis 및 TSC2 angiomyolipoma 등의 질환과 연관됩니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 세 가지 이상의 isoform을 형성합니다.
