Product Specific Information

Description:
The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule, also known as Heat Stable Antigen (HSA). This 35–50 kDa molecule is anchored in the plasma membrane via phosphatidylinositol and is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage. It has been reported that P-selectin (CD62P) binds to CD24.

Applications Reported:
This eBioSN3 (SN3 A5-2H10) antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test.
A test corresponds to staining a cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test) in 100 µL final volume.
Careful titration is advised for optimal performance.

Super Bright 600 Characteristics:

• Tandem dye excited by violet laser (405 nm), emits at 600 nm
• Recommended bandpass filter: 610/20
• Ensure instrument compatibility
• Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation — protect from light

Staining Recommendations:
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C using:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333)
  Performance may vary by clone.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed at multiple stages of B-cell development, from pro-B-cells to mature surface Ig-positive B-cells. Plasma cells show low or no expression.
CD24 is found on most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.
It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity control.
