Product Specific Information

The 2H7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD20, a 33–36 kDa transmembrane protein expressed on developing and mature B cells, but not plasma cells. CD20 plays a role in B-cell activation.

• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for flow cytometry of human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test

Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
For fixation, samples may be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

CD20 is a non-glycosylated surface phosphoprotein (33–37 kDa) expressed on mature and malignant B cells, a subset of T lymphocytes, and follicular dendritic cells. It regulates calcium conductance, cell cycle progression, and B-cell proliferation. CD20 remains on the cell surface after antibody binding, making it a valuable target for B-cell depletion therapies. Disorders associated with CD20 dysfunction include Ms4a1-related common variable immune deficiency.
