Target Information
ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1, CD29)
ITGB1은 110 kDa 세포 표면 당단백질로 다양한 세포(모든 백혈구 포함)에서 발현된다. 최소 6개의 서로 다른 알파 사슬(alpha1–alpha6)과 비공유 결합된 헤테로다이머를 형성하여 베타1(VLA) 인테그린의 결합 특성을 결정한다.
ITGB1은 세포 부착 분자로서 혈소판, VLA 항원 복합체, 세포외 기질 단백질 결합 복합체에 존재한다. 발현 감소는 항암제 존재 시 종양 세포의 다약제 내성과 관련이 있다. 또한 백혈구의 혈류에서 조직으로의 이동을 조절하며, 염증성 장질환 관련 조직 손상 및 증상에 관여한다.
ITGB1 의존적 메커니즘을 통해 fibronectin과 type I collagen은 IL-1β 자극 시 인간 기도 평활근 세포의 사이토카인 분비를 증가시킨다. 포유류에서는 8가지 이상의 베타 서브유닛과 다양한 스플라이스 변형체가 존재하며, β1A와 β1D 두 주요 형태가 있다. β1A는 대부분의 조직에서 발현되고, β1D는 심장 및 골격근에서 주로 발현된다.
